Madrid taxi drivers upset at proposed new regulations

September 30, 2009 at 16:02 (News) (, , , , )

Users will not have to take the first taxi in the rank in Madrid anymore. The new regulation being drawn up in the Madrid City Hall, will allow passengers to choose the taxi they want to get into, as opposed to currently being obliged to take the first one in the rank queue. To add insult to injury, the new rules also oblige taxi drivers to replace their vehicles at least every eight years.

Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola

September 19, 2009 at 19:53 (fuengirola) (, , , , , )

For the first time today I went to visit the castle in Fuengirola, locally called Castillo Sohail. I was quite impressed. It’s got the definite feeling of a fort. Not like those namby pamby palaces and castles you find in England and France. But an actual, no holds bar fort! Man the walls and take on all on comers!

Awkward Family photos

September 19, 2009 at 09:55 (Web) (, , , )

I’m sure many of you have been through gone through that family torture, known as the family portrait at some point in you’re life. Intelligent design

September 17, 2009 at 13:36 (Web) (, , , , )

Was Just having a chat (they like to refer to them as debates!) about evolution. Surprise, surprise, they did not believe in evolution because they’re religion told them we were all created by a giant sphincter, or some such nonsense.
