Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola

For the first time today I went to visit the castle in Fuengirola, locally called Castillo Sohail. I was quite impressed. It’s got the definite feeling of a fort. Not like those namby pamby palaces and castles you find in England and France. But an actual, no holds bar fort! Man the walls and take on all on comers!

Smart git that I am, I didn’t think to have a video camera. The fact that I haven’t got one is no excuse. So I’ve done the next best thing. I found a video online that you can see below, showing just how cool the place is. Its set in these great gardens that where archeologists have found old roman ruins.

Not just keeping it as a fossil of the past, they actually hold concerts and parties here which is really, really cool. I’m looking forward to the next one!
